The PM Training Course
Welcome to the ATC ELIA Project Management Training Course!
This PM Training Course has been designed for YOU to build up your know-how and skills in language services project management.
After completing the course, you will…
- have the knowledge and skills a great PM needs
- stand out from the crowd
- kickstart your career in becoming a language service pro!
How does the course function?
The course is split into three modules: The Bigger Picture, The Language Service Provider, and Project Management. Click on ABOUT THE COURSE to read more about what each module contains.
Each module contains lessons on specific industry topics, by industry experts. Each lesson will take you about two hours to complete: an hour to watch the three lesson videos, and another hour to complete the practice task and take the lesson quiz.
We recommend that you follow the course structure in order to get the most out of your learning. The first module lays the foundation you need to start building your understanding and skillset as a professional language services project manager.
You can access the course for 90 days and complete it at your own speed. You can dip in and out of the course as much as you like, when you like.
Eek, quizzes!
Each lesson includes a quiz that consists of 3 multiple choice questions.
Quizzes can feel intimidating, but on this course, you’ll be fine! We want you to get the most out of the course, so the quizzes are not designed to trip you up, but to support your learning.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes! Once you have completed the course you will be able to download a certificate of attendance to showcase your skills.
If you want to become an ATC ELIA Certified PM, you (or your employer or university) can buy access to a separate Certification Exam.
Taking the Certification Exam is a really powerful way of demonstrating that you have thoroughly internalised your new skills. After taking the exam, you can call yourself an ATC ELIA Certified PM, and use the Certified PM Badge on your CV, LinkedIn Profile, and other professional networks.
The Certification Exam consists of 22 questions, one based on each lesson of the PM Training Course. You have one attempt at the exam, and need to get a 15/22 score to pass.
